The world around me

Another lovely walk to the bus accompanied by the family ☺️ lucky me!

Today the sky’s are grey and heavy with rain. Big drops fall every now and and then with little spots of sunshine and then cloud again. I am so grateful for rain. After the Cape Town drought for 2 years every drop is precious to me. I wonder if that’s a lifelong thing or just for now?

I’m still frugal with electricity, 4 years after rolling blackouts, so maybe it will be here for a while.

I write these blog posts whilst on the bus to work. One of hundreds of commuters, heading off to their work place to put in their 8ish hours. Everyone has their own world, their own dramas filled with love, loss, dreams and fears. Sonder. Like little robots working in a large factory.
